Major electrical project on Oxford Road

There is a major electrical project planned at the end of March to bring electrical capacity to supply 860 new homes at the David Wilson Homes Bankside development on Oxford Road.

The only capacity available from National Grid is at Ells Lane Primary Substation and a further upgrade on Molyneux Drive. To bring this capacity in a 7km cable route is required.
