The Duchess of Kent - Book of Condolences

We are saddened to share the news that The Duchess of Kent passed away on 5 September, at the age of 92.

Born Katharine Lucy Mary Worsley, The Duchess was married to The Duke of Kent for 64 years. She was best known for her appearances at Wimbledon, where she presented the Ladies’ Singles Trophy for many years.

The Royal Family are observing a period of mourning, which will remain in place until The Duchess’ funeral. Business as usual continues during this period, but you may wish to exercise discretion as to the timing and appropriateness of celebratory events.
