Published: 06 January 2025
Oxfordshire County Council is seeking your views on the proposed scheme to reduce speed limits, as illustrated in the attached drawings. The measures are being brought forward as part of the Vision Zero Speed Management programme.
Your comments will be taken into account when the scheme proceeds to detailed design and is subsequently subjected to a formal consultation process. Details of the proposed changes along the A4260 are as follows:
- Banbury to Bodicote.
- An extension of the existing 30mph speed limit, southwards to (and including) the Weeping Cross junction, replacing the current 40mph limit.
A detailed map is on each notice-board.
If you have any comments or other representations on the proposals, please could these be submitted by return email, by Friday 24 January 2025.
