Part Night Lights – Yes or No?
Part Night Lighting is an initiative by Oxfordshire County Council to significantly reduce electricity consumption and associated costs. It also lowers carbon footprint and lessens light pollution, helping both residents and nocturnal wildlife, however it is important to balance energy efficiency and the environment with community needs and safety.
It is important there is consultation with residents before making any decision and the majority opinion will be implemented. Please let us know how you feel about changing our lighting by using the contact link below.
More salt bins – let us know
For the first time in a few years Bodicote experienced snow and ice which made walking, cycling and driving difficult and hazardous. Some residents contacted us asking for more salt bins around the village. Please contact us and let us know where you think extra bins would be most useful and benefit most people.
