CONSULTATION – White Post Road (Bodicote) proposed parking restrictions
Published: 17 January 2025
OCC are asking for your views on the proposal to introduce ‘No Waiting at Any Time’ (double yellow line) parking restrictions on White Post Road, in Bodicote. The proposals will cover both sides of the road between the junctions with Oxford Road and the roundabout junction with Sycamore Drive, and are being put forward in order to help prevent parking on the approaches to the roundabout and the new bell-mouth junction, as well as managing the overspill parking and associated danger to road users in relation to the school pick-up and drop-off times.
These proposals mirror those that were put forward in January 2023 (see here for details), and are being re-consulted due to expiration of the statutory two-year period in which to implement, resulting from wider planning complication. In light of this, please find the following documents attached:
- Public Notice,
- Statement of Reasons,
- Consultation Plan(s),
- Draft Traffic Regulation Order(s).
The proposals are scheduled to be advertised in the Banbury Guardian newspaper today; Thursday 16th January 2025, and details are also available to view on the Councils consultation portal at the address below:
As stated on the notice, any objections or other representations on the proposals should be submitted by Friday 14th February 2025.
